Directorate of Museums, Assam has released an employment notification to hire candidates for the recruitment of 8 Grade-IV vacancy under the Directorate of Museums, Assam, Ambari, Guwahati - 781001.Interested and Eligible Candidates may apply , after making sure that they meet the concerned eligibility criteria.

Name of post: Grade IV
No of posts: 8
Educational Qualification: Minimum Class VIII passed.
Pay: PB - 12000 - 37000 Grade Pay: 3900
Age: Candidates must not be younger than 18 nor older than 40 years old on 1st January, 2020. The upper age limit relaxation for SC/ST is up to 05 years and 03 years for OBC/MOBC as per Govt. rule.
Application Fee: There is no application fee.
Selection Procedure:
Eligible candidates will be required to appear in written Examination. The written Examination will be of 50 marks 90 minutes duration (General Knowledge, Maths, Assamese & English). TA/DA will not be paid for test attendance.
After being shortlisted, a screening committee will set dates for the candidates to physically attend with their original documentation in order to undergo a medical examination and have various claims included in their application form verified.
How to apply:
The following documents need to be included with the application:
a. Self attested copies of
(i) Age proof Certificate,
(ii) Educational qualifications,
(iii) Caste certificate,
(iv) Valid employment Registration card of the State of Assam,
(v) Residential certificate (PRC/Voter ID/Aadhaar) etc.
(vi) Candidates who qualify for EWS should present their EWS certificate, which was given by an authorized body,
(vii) A Declaration in accordance with Form-A (Small Family Norms in Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2019 must be submitted by the applicant. The candidates must provide their mobile nos. in the Application form and available in the website www.museums.assam.gov.in.
b. Three copies of current passport-size photos that have been self authenticated.
c. A self-address envelope size (22 cm x 10 cm) affixing postal stamp for Rs. 5 only
d. Candidates/ applicants will have to mention the name of the post applied for at the top of the sealed envelope carrying the application form.
Application should be submitted in person or by ordinary post the Guwahati, 781001, Office of the Directorate of Museums, Assam, Ambari. The last date of receipt of application is 24th 25th November 2020. Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted.
