Age: One must be at least 18 years old and no more than 40 years old on January 1, 2020. There is a 3-year age limit for people from the OBC group and a 5-year age limit for people from the SC, ST(P), and ST(H) groups.

Educational Qualification:
(a) GNM Nursing Diploma / B.Sc (Nursing) degree from a nursing school or institute that is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
(b) Minimum 1 year working experience in ICU/ Critical Care Unit.
(c) Must be recognized by the Assam Nurses' Midwives' & Health Visitors Council.

From October 1, 2020, until October 7, 2020, at midnight, you can fill out an online form at www.dme.assam.gov.in, which is the website of the Directorate of Medical Education, Assam.
The following papers in original must be produced at the time of document verification if called for and photocopies of all certificates etc. are to be submitted:
(a) 2 copies of a color photo the size of a passport that is uploaded when the online application form is filled out and sent in.
(b) A copy of your birth certificate or HSLC admit card to prove your age.
(c) All of the report cards and the pass certificate.
(d) Assam Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors Council Registration Certificate.
(e) Caste certificate (wherever applicable).
(f) Divyang certificate (wherever applicable).
(g) Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Certificate (wherever applicable).
(h) Permanent residentship certificate of Assam.
