Educational Qualification & Post Wise Vacancy Details :
i) Extension Officer (Industries): Three years Diploma in Engineering/Technology disciplines include Computer, Electronics and Instrumentation, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Textile, Plastic Processing, and Food Processing from AICTE recognized institute or MCW/ MSW or a Degree from recognized University with advanced proficiency Certificate in Computer Applications/Industrial Management from a government-recognized university or institute.

ii) Economic Investigator (E.I): Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university, with Economics or Statistics as one of the subjects.

iii) Junior Assistant (HQ Level): Graduate degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognized university or institution and having basic computer knowledge such as MS word, MS excel, internet browsing etc.

iv) Stenographer-III (HQ level): Graduate in any discipline from a recognized college or institution, with a National Trade Certificate in stenography from an Assam ITI or any other Institute recognized by the Govt. of Assam / Govt. of India with 80 WPM in English Stenography having basic computer knowledge such as MS word, MS excel, internet browsing etc.

Age Criteria :
Candidate must be no older than 38 years old and no younger than 18 years old on January 1, 2020 (candidate must be born on or before January 1, 2002 and no later than January 1, 1982).
Relaxation: The upper age limit can be relaxed as follows:
i) 05 (five) years in the case of SC, ST (P), and ST (H) candidates.
ii) 03 (three) years in case of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.
Selection Process :
There will be two phases of Tests and
(i) First Phase Test ( Written test )
(ii) Second Phase Test for all the above mentioned posts.
(Computer-based exam to assess knowledge of applied posts and computer operations ability.)
