Directorate of Forensic Science, Kahilipara, Assam has released a notification regrading the recruitment of Junior Assistant (LDA), Grade-IV (Attendant/Laboratory Bearer) and Cook. Forensic Science Assam Recruitment Details
1. Junior Assistant (LDA)
No of Posts: 02 Posts
Educational Qualification: The applicant must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. Candidate should have at least 6 months Diploma Certificate in Computer Proficiency from a recognized Institute. They should have good working knowledge of office productivity software tools like word processor, spreadsheet, presentation graphics concept of data base, internet, e-mail etc.
Pay Scale: Rs.14,000 – 60,500/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.6,200/- per month.
2. Grade-IV (Attendant/Laboratory Bearer)
No of Posts: 04 Posts
Educational Qualification: Candidates must need to be class 8th passed or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Pay Scale: Rs.12,000 – 52,000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.3,900/- per month.
3. Cook
No of Posts: 01 Post
Educational Qualification: Candidates must need to be class 8th passed or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Experience: Candidates should have experience certificate from reputed hotel/ restaurant.
Pay Scale: Rs.12,000 – 52,000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.3,900/- per month.
Other Details of Forensic Science Recruitment
Age Limit: The candidates age should be between 18 years to 40 years as on 1st January 2021.
Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation will be 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates and 5 years for ST candidates.
Employment Exchange Registration: The candidate must have registered their names in employment exchange and valid registration number along-with the date must be mentioned in their application.

Type of Questions in Written Exam: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
Skill Test: A skill test of 30 marks will be conducted for this post.
