Age Criteria for Transport Department, Assam Recruitment 2020 :
The age range for the candidates should be between 21 and 38 years old as on 01/01/2020. The upper age limit is relaxable:
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP.

Eligibilty Criteria for Transport Department, Assam Recruitment 2020 :
I. The applicant must live in Assam permanently.
ii. The aspirant needs to present an Assamese-issued PRC for educational purpose as a proof of residency along with the Application Form.
OR
iii. The candidate must produce a legitimate Employment Exchange registration certificate issued by the State of Assam, submitted with the application.
Educational Qualification for Transport Department, Assam Recruitment 2020 :
H.S.S.L.C. holding a three-year diploma in mechanical or automotive engineering from a recognised Institute of Govt. of Assam/Govt. of India and also duly recognised by AICTE.
H.S.L.C./H.S.S.L.C. with three years of mechanical or automotive engineering diploma or B.E/B.Tech (Automobile/ Mechanical) Engineering from a recognised institute of Govt. of Assam/ Govt. of India and also duly recognised by AICTE.
