National Health Mission (NHM) invites online applications for the post of Community Health Officers (CHOs). This cadre is a part of the Ayushman Bharat initiative to strengthen sub-centers as health and wellness centers (H&WCs) in order to facilitate the delivery of comprehensive primary health care services, including illness prevention and health promotion, and to improve the implementation of public health programmes. The chosen applicants will be assigned to Sub-Centers as CHOs, where they will oversee a primary health team made up of ASHAs, MPWs, and ANMs (as frontline workers).

Maximum 5 years of age relaxation shall be given to the reserved category candidate, e.g. Other Backward Class (OBC), Scheduled Tribe Cast (ST), Scheduled Cast (SC), Woman, and Person with Disability (PWD) and maximum age limit shall be of 45 years for such candidates if they are domicile resident of MP.

Clarification: 10th passed certificate/ marks sheet shall be a valid/ reference document for
age calculations and other documentation will not be taken into consideration for the calculation of the
Age of the candidate.
Stipend :
₹ 15000/- per month plus up to ₹ 7500/- per month performance based incentive.
Educational Qualification:
- B.Sc. degree in Nursing with integrated curriculum of certificate in Community Health (CCH) / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with Integrated curriculum of Certificate in Community Health (CCH) by recognized Institute / University by Indian Nursing Council or MP Nursing Council.
- Students pursuing final year's B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing along with Integrated Certificate in Community Health (CCH) from Institute / University recognized by Indian Nursing Council or MP Nursing Council, may also apply.
- Registration with M.P. Nursing Council is a must before the joining of the post of
Community Health Officer on contractual basis.
