Directorate of Health Services (DHS), Assam announced Job notification to hire candidates for the recruitment of 656 Grade-III (Technical) vacancy regarding the 10 district hospitals and 3 sub-divisional hospitals for the newly formed 6 (six) districts—West Karbi Anglong, South Saimara-Mankachar, Majuli, Charaideo, Hojai, and Biswanath Chariali—as well as the open positions in various state-run healthcare facilities.

1. Pharmacist
Total posts: 55
Educational Qualification: Diploma/ Degree in Pharmacy from a government-approved school and be registered with the Assam Pharmacy Council.
2. Staff Nurse
Total posts: 498
Educational Qualification: GNM Diploma /B.Sc (Nursing) Degree from any facility or nursing program approved by the Indian Nursing Council and must be registered under Assam Nurses’ Midwives’ & Health Visitors Council.
3. Laboratory Technician
Number of posts: 77
Education Requirement: HSSLC or its equivalent with Diploma / Certificate in Laboratory Technician from Govt. recognized institute.
4. Blood Blank Technician
Number of posts: 11
Education Requirement: HSSLC or its equivalent with Diploma / Certificate in Laboratory Technician from Govt. recognized institute.
5. Dresser
Number of posts: 15
Education Requirement: HSSLC or its equivalent with experience in dressing (atleast for 3 years in dressing)
Age Criteria :
The candidate's age as of January 1, 2020, cannot be less than 18 nor greater than 40. The upper age restriction is only relaxed for OBC candidates for 3 years and for SC, ST(P), and ST(H) candidates for 5 years.
