After question papers were leaked on social media, the written exam for Assam Police sub-inspector (UB) was canceled.
Today, the State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) held written tests in all of the state's district headquarters.

Earlier in a circular, chairman of SLPRB, Assam stated, “It is also reiterated that the candidates need not pay any money any where during the entire process of recruitment. Anyone who demands money at any point of the recruitment process will face criminal charges. If any candidate becomes aware of such an incidence, the information may be given to the local police or to the chairman of the SLPRB in Assam, either via phone or email - slprbassam@gmail.com. The identity of the informant will be kept secret.”
