Out of new 50 vacancies are in 5 newly created polytechnics in Tinsukia, Hailakandi, Morigaon, Chirang, and Udalguri and 118 vacancies are in existing institutions under DTE, Assam. [Age relaxation added]
Educational Qualification Criteria :
1. Junior Assistant
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline. Must possess Computer Skills & proficiency for handling data and text on Computer.
2. Junior Instructor
Educational Qualification: Passed HSLC or TSLC and having Certificate from ITI or equivalent in appropriate trade with 5 years of experience in the relevant trade. The experience must be from Govt. recognized organisation.
3. Scientific Assistant (Physics)
Educational Qualification: Degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Preference will be given to candidates having Major/ Honours in Physics at Degree level
4. Scientific Assistant (Chemistry)
Educational Qualification: Degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Preference will be given to candidates having Major/ Honours in Chemistry at Degree level.
Age Criteria:
On January 1, 2020, candidates must be younger than 18 or older than 38. However, under current government regulations, the top age limit is flexible.
Pay Scale :
- Junior Assistant– Rs.14,000-60,500 plus GP Rs.6,200/-
- Junior Instructor – Rs.14,000-60,500 plus GP Rs.6,800/-
- Scientific Assistant (Physics) – Rs.14,000-60,500 plus GP Rs.7,400/-
- Scientific Assistant (Chemistry)– Rs.14,000-60,500 plus GP Rs.7,400/-
