The complete Group D/Level 1 recruitment process for the Railway Recruitment Board in 2019 shall involve the following stages -
i) Computer Based Test(s)
ii) Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
iii) Document Verification
iv) Medical Examination

There will be negative marking and a deduction of 1/3 mark for each incorrect response.
Minimum percentage of marks required to be eligible for different categories:
UR-40%
EWS-40%
OBC(Non creamy layer)-30%
SC-30%
ST-30%
These percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PwBD candidates if there are not enough PwBD candidates to fill the positions designated for them.
Where a second stage CBT is deemed necessary and held to create a short list of suitable applicants for the second stage, the Railway Administration retains the right to consider the first stage CBT as a qualifying exam.
