Pay Scale: Rs.14,000-60,500/- (Pay Band II), with Grade pay of Rs.6,200/- and other admissible allowances.
2. Constable (UB)

Government of Assam has sanctioned 70 posts of Constables (WO/WT/CY) for newly created Assam Commando Battalions. These newly sanctioned 70 post will be clubbed along with 441 post of Constable (WO/WT/OPR) already advertised as the essential qualification and other criteria of both the post are same.
However, the candidate those who applied earlier for the posts of Constable (WO/WT/OPR) against advertisement dated 15th February 2022 need not to apply again and their candidature will be considered for the newly sanction 70 posts of Constables (WO/WT/CY) for Assam Commando Battalions also.
Other Criteria of APRO Recruitment
Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens, permanent resident of Assam. Selected candidates will have to submit proof of residence /Domicile Certificate after publication of the final select list. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC/MOBC are exempted from submitting such certificates.
Employment Exchange Registration Certificate: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other state language fluently.
Age Limit: Candidates age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years as on 1st January 2022 (i.e., Candidate must be born on or before 01/01/2004 and on or after 01/01/1997).
Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below

# OBC/MOBC: 3 years
# Trained Home guard: 3 years
