Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) has released an employment notification to hire candidates for the recruitment of 206 Stipendiary Trainee/ Scientific Assistant, Scientific Assistant, Steno, Sub Officer, Assistant, Fireman and Driver posts.

Pay Scale / Stipend:
- Category-I Stipendiary Trainee/ Scientific Assistant (ST/SA): During 1st year of training stipend of ₹ 16000/- Per Month, During 2nd year of training stipend of ₹ 18000/- Per Month.
- Scientific Assistant/C: Initial pay of ₹ 44900/- in level-7 of Revised Pay Structure (Pay Matrix) under CCS (RP) Rules, 2016. (Group-B)
- Scientific Assistant/B: Initial pay of ₹ 35400/- in level 6 of Revised Pay Structure (Pay Matrix) under CCS (RP) Rules, 2016. (Group-B)
- Assistant / Stenographer: Initial pay of ₹ 25500/- in level 4 of Revised Pay Structure (Pay Matrix) under CCS (RP) Rules, 2016. (Group-C)
- Sub-Officer/B: Initial pay of ₹ 35400/- in level 6 of Revised Pay Structure (Pay

Educational Qualification and Experience:
✔️ Category-I Stipendiary Trainee/ Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) – Diploma Holders in Engineering: (1) Diploma with not less than 60% marks in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. (2) The Diploma in Engineering should be of 3 years duration after SSC / HSC.
✔️ Category-I Stipendiary Trainee/ Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) - Science Graduates: (1) B.Sc. with a minimum of 60% marks. B.Sc. shall be with Physics as principal and Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary OR with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects with equal weightage. (2) Mathematics at H.S.C. (10+2) level is essential. (3) English as one of the subjects either at SSC or HSC level examinations is compulsory. (4) Candidates having Mathematics as the principal subject at B.Sc. are not eligible.
✔️ Assistant Grade-1 (HR): A Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Commerce or Arts with minimum 50% marks. 30 words per Minute typing speed in English or PC. Computer Proficiency Test.
✔️Assistant Grade-1 (F&A): A Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with minimum 50% marks.
✔️ Assistant Grade-1 (C&MM): A Bachelor’s Degree in Science (with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) OR Commerce with minimum 50% marks.
✔️ Stenographer Grade-1: A Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with minimum 50% marks. A speed of 80 w.p.m. in English Stenography. A speed of 40 w.p.m. in English typing on PC. English Stenography is compulsory and preference will be given to those candidates who also possess knowledge of Hindi Typing / Hindi Stenography.
✔️ Sub-Officer/B: HSC (10+2 / Matric+2) (Science with Chemistry) or equivalent with 50% marks + Passed sub officer's course from National Fire Service College. Minimum 12years relevant experience.
✔️ Leading Fireman/A: HSC (10+2) Science with Chemistry or equivalent minimum 50% marks. Minimum 08 years relevant experience.
✔️ Driver-cum-Pump Operator cum Fireman/A: H.S.C.(10+2) (Science with Chemistry) or equivalent with minimum 50% marks + Valid heavy vehicle driving license.
