Sericulture, Assam Admission 2020 : Apply For One Year Certificate Course

The Sericulture Department in Assam has released the notification of admission for the 2020–2021 session of the One Year Certificate Course Training at the Sericulture Training Institute in Assam, Titabor.

Interested and Eligible Candidates may apply  , after confirming that they fulfill the relevant eligibility requirements.

Seat Capacity: 30 [General: 12, EWSs: 3, SC: 2, STP: 3, STH: 1, OBC/MOBC: 8, PWD: 1]

Age Limit for Sericulture, Assam Admission 2020:

The candidates should not be younger than 18 nor older than 25 years old as on 01.01.2020. The upper age limit is relaxable for the candidates of reserved categories as per Govt. norms.

Qualifications for Admission to Sericulture, Assam in 2020:

The candidates must obtain at least 45% marks in the Higher Secondary (Science) or its equivalent Examination with relaxation 5% marks for SC and ST candidates.

Selection Process of Sericulture, Assam Admission :

The candidate must pay for their own attendance at the designated time and location and appear before the interview board as and when requested. Candidates who are chosen will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 125 on being admitted subject to regular attendance, good conduct and satisfactory performance.

Application to be submitted to the in the format specified to the Principal, Sericultural Training Institute, Assam, Titabar, P.O. Purana Titabar, District- Jorhat. PIN code-785632.

Last date of receipt of Application (including Application received through post) up to 05.00 PM. on 19th October 2020.

Copies of testimonials to be attached with application form (declared by himself/ herself as certified to be true copy of the original):-

i) Pass Certificate Higher Secondary (Science) or its equivalent Examination.
ii) Higher Secondary (Science) and Higher Level Certificate Mark Sheet or is Exam.

iii) Certificate of birth or proof of age.
iv) Permanent Residential Certificate.
v) Certificate for Economically Weaker Sections (for EWSs)

vi) Certificate of Disability (for PWD)
vii) Caste Certificate.

viii) 3 (three copies) of recent passport size photograph self-attested across front side of the photograph.
